Maria Jos\u00e9 Brites and Teresa Sofia Castro\u00a0argue that these informal contexts serve as catalysts for students&#8217; formal education, positioning digital wellbeing as essential to the concept of a good life in an increasingly digital society. Their findings are based on two key sources: a series of participatory webinars conducted during the 2024-2025 academic year in partnership with Portugal&#8217;s Directorate-General for Education, and nine interviews with teachers from primary through lower secondary education levels.<\/p><p>The presentation is part of the first edition of the DigiMig Webinar Series, organised by the University of Groningen&#8217;s VIDI-funded DigiMig project, which explores how digital technologies shape experiences of migration, belonging, and
